DS: Speaking of travel, what are your favorite cities in the world?
David: Paris, France, it’s full of times less beauty and is so romantic. San Francisco, I love the combination of city offerings and geographical region. Bolonas, CA, the best beach vibe town I’ve ever visited.
DS: What is your favorite material to work with and why?
David: I’m partial to wood, but I love any authentic material. I really enjoy pairing the raw and unrefined with high-end sophistication.
DS: What advice would you give to aspiring furniture makers, designers, and artisans?
David: Follow your heart.
DS: What project are you the most proud of from your work?
David: The Graham Bybee House. I’m really pleased with how the entire project turned out. Everything from the space planning, finishes, fixtures and decor. We did the interior design, interior architecture, furniture and lighting design.
